Brief Overview

Home Instead is a national franchise providing senior care and specialist care services across 250 sites within the UK. Our client, Home Instead West Lancashire & Chorley, are an award-winning franchise of Home Instead owned by the wonderful husband and wife team, Robert and Gail Godson. Founded in 2011, the franchise delivers a high level of service and was the first care provider in the UK to be awarded ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission. In order to avoid any interruptions to that high level of service, Robert & Gail are careful with the suppliers they use and must ensure that their operations run smoothly in their office.

The Challenge

Upon setting up the franchise a print management solution was in place but over the years, this print management supplier lost control of their service and invoicing which meant that Robert and Gail couldn’t have the autonomy they needed to operate at their best. While the machines themselves served the purpose, Robert and Gail were ultimately looking for a better service, more autonomy, and a closer, more collaborative relationship with their provider. After meeting our Corporate Account Manager, Dave Duffy at an event, they decided to consult with Woodbank Office Solutions.

    The Solution

    In the print review process, Dave demonstrated how Woodbank could take away the stress they were experiencing in managing their machines and give them time to focus on what’s important: their service to the clients. To do this we provided two new replacement machines and a document management software and ensured that they received ongoing direct support whenever they needed it.

    We also gave them the autonomy to upscale and downscale as and when they needed, which proved especially handy in response to the Covid pandemic. Woodbank understood that as a provider, we needed to be flexible to their needs.

    The Result

    Now, the team at Home Instead West Lancashire & Chorley no longer have to waste valuable time worrying about printers, and they have the autonomy and flexibility to get the print solution that best fits them and their business needs.

    With reliable machines and a dedicated Account Manager, they know they’re in safe hands. This means they can continue to provide the level of care that their clients know and love, without any unnecessary distractions.
