Liverpool ONE is one of the UK’s largest retail and leisure destinations, located in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. With over 170 stores, bars, restaurants, and leisure experiences, it attracts more than 22 million visitors annually.
Liverpool ONE’s IT Department is responsible for managing a dependable, efficient print solution. As a business, it was important that toner was delivered on time and any technical issues were responded to and repaired quickly. They also wanted the support from a local, proactive, experienced team of people. Woodbank Office Solutions came highly recommended by one of their employees.
After a meeting with Dave Duffy, Liverpool-based Corporate Account Manager, Liverpool ONE appointed Woodbank Office Solutions as their print management provider. Replacing their current printers with two Konica Minolta Bizhub C251i, which are better suited to their needs, Woodbank also took over the technical support of their print management software, PaperCut.

The Problem
Liverpool ONE operated several printers across different office locations, one of which needed to run 24/7. In this busy environment, these printers needed to be operational around the clock, with on time toner deliveries and quick engineer response.

The Solution
Dave met with Head of Technology and Infrastructure, Lee Silk, and his team to assess their operational print needs. To better reflect their print volumes and to reduce waste, Woodbank recommended replacing the existing outdated printers with two of their latest A3 Colour devices, all managed under a single service agreement.
Woodbank extended Liverpool ONE’s PaperCut licence, providing them with full technical support. PaperCut improves efficiency, enables printing to any network device regardless of location, and generates detailed reports on print and paper usage across the organisation.
The new devices, two Konica Minolta Bizhub C251i, were installed on a day of their choosing, with the process completed in under two hours, ensuring minimal disruption.
