Optimo Care Group
Print Management Case StudyBrief Overview
The Optimo Care Group aims to provide top-tier care services through their unique care organisations: TLC Homecare Ltd, WarrenCare, Choices, Safe Hands Support, Local Care Services, My Life Choice, Care with Choices, Abbeycare and Nursing, and Mayday Homecare; All partnering with a number of local authorities across across Northern England.
We first came into contact with the group through TLC Homecare Ltd, which provides care services to clients across South Yorkshire. They approached us to address their Print Management and in particular the challenge they faced in managing different machines with multiple suppliers. As as a result of the solution and support Woodbank provided, we now support multiple organisations within the Optimo Care Group.
The Challenge
Their existing printer leases were nearing review, and they faced the challenge of managing different machines from multiple suppliers. This led to inconsistencies in service and varying levels of support across their sites.
Their primary requirements were cost-efficiency, streamlined operations, and reliable local support. Following an audit with our Corporate Account Manager, Dave Duffy, it was clear that Woodbank could help them.
The Solution
Woodbank proposed a comprehensive print management solution for TLC Homecare Ltd which included:
- Machine Replacement: To address the inconsistency in their existing fleet, we replaced their outdated machines with the latest range of Konica Minolta Multifunctional Devices. This upgrade ensured improved performance, increased efficiency, and reduced maintenance costs.
- Single Lease Consolidation: We consolidated their leases into a single, streamlined agreement, saving them both administrative time and costs.
- Local Support: Jason Morris, our Service Director, lives close to TLC Homecare Ltd’s Yorkshire sites. This played a crucial role in their decision. This meant that that TLC Homecare Ltd were assured that they would receive prompt and reliable local support for their print infrastructure.

The Process
The implementation process was executed seamlessly across TLC Homecare Ltd’s sites and included working alongside the group Finance Director of the Optimo Care Group.
- A virtual meeting was conducted to discuss detailed requirements and to formulate the best solution
- Ongoing communication to address any queries and gain additional information in advance of the installation
- Structured, planned installation. The client requested a staggered delivery for all their new machines to smooth integration and minimised disruption.
The Result
