Premier Tech Water and Environment
Print Management Case StudyBrief Overview
Premier Tech Water and Environment are a manufacturer based in Peterlee, County Durham. They specialize in a producing a range of sewage and water treatment plants and storage for both domestic and professional use. They provide both singular branded solutions or bespoke green solutions to homeowners and businesses to help keep waste and water treatment sustainable and environmentally friendly. With a busy factory, a central administration hub and also account offices all located within the same building, they required their print management solution to work holistically.
The Challenge
With a busy site with multiple spaces and offices, the team at Premier Tech Water and Environment don’t want to have to worry about something as simple their printers. Unfortunately, their print supplier had been inactive in maintaining their print solution, meaning that they had been experiencing a lot of downtime on their printers, in some cases lasting as long as a week. The team at PT Water and Environment were also looking for a way to order additional supplies of toner and other consumables, without having to wait for them to run out first.
The Solution
After introducing themselves on a quick call, our Regional Sales Manager Manager was made aware of the situation. Invited to pitch our solution, she investigated their current set-up. They had a number of outdated machines which needed replacing, and even a machine that was 16 years old. As part of the quest for a new supplier, Premier Tech Water and Environment’s Procurement and Inventory Technician, Philip Pirrie, asked for a complete replacement of their fleet of machines as well as maintenance for this 16 year old printer. Instead, Woodbank overhauled their fleet and replaced this old machine with a new one at no extra cost. Not only will this decrease downtime, it will save PT Water and Environment money on unnecessary call outs and maintenance.
The Result
Now, after a smooth and efficient install which lasted less than two weeks, all machines have been replaced with new ones, one Konica Minolta C450i multifunctional office printer, two Konica Minolta C4050i medium sized office printers, and one Kyocera TASKalfa 3253ci multifunctional device, the same brands their team are comfortable with so that no additional training is required. With their extended customer care and their experienced Account Manager, PT Water and Environment no longer have to worry about downtime on their machines, toner shortages, or costly maintenance on obsolete technology. Their team now have the time to focus on what’s most important to their business.
“We were looking for a company who could give us a better service, new machines at a reasonable price, and deliver on time to our factory and offices. With Woodbank, we’ve had no issues whatsoever, everything is going well.
We were given new equipment over a three year lease, and we’re now able to order the consumables we need with no delays.
Our account manager has bent over backwards for us to ensure we get what we need. It’s been a delight to work with her and we look forward to continuing to work with Woodbank Office Solutions.”
