As a business, Rock Compliance place their customers at the heart of everything they do, this means they need to ensure their office systems are working flawlessly. After experiencing rapid growth, their 11 sites and Head Office relied on network of 14 multifunctional office printers. The main issue was that those printers were being provided by multiple different suppliers, on multiple contracts, with different contract terms, which made it difficult and complicated. They needed a solution.

The Challenge

Multiple suppliers, contracts, and price points caused a lot of management headaches. This was exasperated by the different levels of service multi suppliers gave, adding to an inconsistency of service for the business. As a result, Dominic Putka, the Group’s IT Manager, sought to resolve this by finding a reliable supplier to consolidate their managed print service and support. After reviewing proposals from four potential suppliers, Dominic met with one of our Corporate Account Managers, Dave Duffy and an in-house technical expert from our pre-sales IT security and network team. We gave Rock Compliance the full Woodbank Office Solutions Review, assessing their current setup, discussing thoroughly their future print, network and software security needs and recommending the best office solution for them. Providing guidance on how they can efficiently and best optimize their printer network.

    The Solution

Following a full review, Rock Compliance agreed to that streamlining their office printing to just 13 recommended machines: Konica Minolta Bizhub C250i and C3350i multifunctional devices would be the ideal solution for them. To enable a smooth transition from multiple suppliers to a single provider, we recommended we test and trial one of their new machines at their most urgent site, to not only allow them to experience the solution at work and gain an insight into Woodbank’s efficiency and service levels. It also ensured a smooth transition process with as little disruption as possible. Dominic loved our customer-centric approach. Account Manager Dave Duffy assisted Dominic in consolidating contract settlements with previous suppliers and Woodbank installed the 13 new machines across their sites. Within 10 days, all, brand new Konica Minolta printers were fully installed, networked, and operational. optimizing their fleet and reducing costs.

      The Result

Rock Compliance now benefits from one single supplier and one point of contact, ensuring they receive the direct support through a dedicated account manager and experienced in-house service and support engineers who fully understand their needs. Furthermore, by integrating their managed print fleet to a single manufacturer and brand of machines, the business eliminates the need for additional training and ensures compatibility with their toner orders, saving valuable time and money. In addition, we estimate an annual print cost savings for the company of up to 20%.

“Woodbank Office Solutions have single-handedly removed the weight of managing printers across the country from my weary shoulders. Their dedication, expertise, and outstanding customer service make them the go-to choice for anyone seeking printer salvation.
